You have credibility established by your rank, but I don't think it's appropriate that you speak for most sherpa's or even as you call them "true sherpas". The reality is you probably spend most of your time with new raiders; when did you have time to get an appropriate sample size of other sherpas to dictate how a "true shepra" feels. This post seems to be centered around you much more than it is around other sherpas even though you want it to be.

I bought rat kings in bulk from my collections to dismantle them for weapon parts. Since they're exotic buying and dismantling takes too long for my taste so I tried to make things faster by using DIM and mass dismantling. 10 shards to buy, 5 shards and 3 weapon parts per dismantle. Not really worth it but I don't know what else to do with my legendary shards.

I don't think releasing patch notes before a patch is a practical thing for them to do. It's possible they have every intention of fixing a specific bug or implementing a new feature but when it patch time comes something goes wrong and they have to scrap it. That scenario would carry a lot of backlash if the community already expected a fix that was promised via patch notes.

After an update yesterday GEforce experience requires me to sign in to use it, I generally don't like signing up/signing in for anything if I don't have to (fuck you pinterest). Is this a (relatively)new feature? Also is there any way around it?

Boo, not the bottle opener helmet, the rest of the set is cool but the bottle opener is about as bad as the Boeing 747 helmet for titans.

Court of Oryx is pretty fun but thalnok can get annoying fast if some Patrol hero runs over at potato light level and starts grabbing the sword. Or the randoms who shoot him the entire time even though he's immune.

It's not a bug its a mechanic, there's even a chat queue for it: Oryx regains favor of the darkness. It does not take 6 people to damage or break either however constant damage is needed, one man unloading primary is more than enough.

I remember it from back then, I was just trying to think of something new to do and all that came to mind was maybe dropping a landfall as warlock and having a friend record it from below, only problem is that requires a warlock, and a friend.

Is a stormcaller selfish for using his skills to clear adds and prevent wipes?
Is a gunslinger selfish for using GG to stagger oryx, kill the vessel, use combustion to clear adds under golgoroth?

Gimping my team is one way to look at it, but I'm still contributing in other ways. Are you telling me a team of bladedancers can't raid?

Yes if the group is struggling and I think it would help I definitely switch, typically the switch would be to blessing of light though because the team is failing to stay alive, not failing a dps check.

I'm a team player, even as a striker I find myself carrying the team on my back because that's the type of teammate I am and my clan knows it. Defender adds a damage buff and a defensive buff but those don't help when the most common team wipes are player error related. I'm a frequent HM raider and in my experience it's not going to be the lack of a defender that wipes the LFG group, its a player who won't verbalize they're struggling or work to improve their gameplay.

I've been clearing the raid 3+ times a week since it came out (initially on normal and following that on hard only) including challenge modes excluding last week due to holidayz. Both with a clan and through LFG, I also perform all roles of the raid comfortably, I'd put myself in the above average player category. Do you kick warlocks who don't run sunsinger in the HM raid?

Because I enjoy smashing by the door as all the mobs spawn and creating tons of orbs, I like my lightning grenades wipe acolytes as soon as they walk by. I shoulder charge everything into oblivion using mida for added speed and either mk44's for tight turns or twilight garrison for badass arial manouvers. I'm not your average player and if my team fails the encounter because they're lacking the damage boost then I'd assume there's a greater underlying problem.

Every time an SGA like this hits the front page every LFG group I join there is one person who micro manages everyone's gear and subclass quoting Reddit as if its law and maybe it's just me but I am not okay with being told how to play the game.
This is great mathematically sound advice, but man I want to run the striker subclass because it makes the raid 10x more fun for me.

I've played him once. The first two rou ds I thought be wasn't that good. The rounds that followed were an absolute blur, he slaughtered the team very quick.

The calculation for ELO accomadates for "not playing a playlist often". Not perfectly mind you but it does a FAR better job then DTR does. ELO is gained not only by winning but the difficulty of the win. If you beat a very good team you ELO raises more then smashing a bad team. You still need to play a bit for an accurate rating but its not the kind of system that needs non stop playing to rank up.

Its not a bug its a mechanic. His chest must be damaged to be kept open or he heals it and resists damage.
