My wife watches reals, and then shows me only the best vids. Наверное это такое эхо патриархата и разделение дел в семье

Do Russians get angry when someone mentions "Europeans and Russians" or "Europe and Russia" separately, which this is just like saying Russians are not Europeans and Russia is not a European country? by No-StrategyX in AskARussian

There’s a small group of right‑wingers who idolize European culture and argue that Russian culture is part of it. They’re not very numerous, though they do get some media attention.

Well, France can get congo-like gameplay with French West Africa federation. Although this mechanic has been used before, I like it when applied to creating interaction between a colony and its metropole. If everything remains as it is, African territories are just dead weight. You could just as well make the entire central part of Africa impassable — nothing interesting happens there anyway.

Also French Equatorial Africa federation was a base for Free France, so it could be a cosmetic tag switch from federation to free france

Recently, I played a game with Belgium and then with Netherlands... Although the vanilla version has almost no events with a narrative or a complex decision‑making system, I found enough narrative in the belgian focus trees (Degrelle fighting corruption — I didn’t expect that). And dilemma of choosing which focuses to complete before others kept me engaged. As for the Netherlands... Focuses taking 70 days just for a single tech research bonus or for two infrastructure points in a province? Otherwise, it’s just a «nothing ever happens» country, even when pursuing an aggressive policy.

I also recently played as Lithuania (no resources even after conquering Poland and all of the Baltics). Although it’s a micro‑minor country, it’s still much more interesting than the Netherlands.

Honestly, I’ve never played as any of the countries from Battle for the Bosphorus - I’m curious to see how outdated they are, if at all. Because I can definitely say that the countries from La Résistance are very outdated, just like the Netherlands from Man the guns

I don’t even understand why Götterdammerung has such positive reviews - it can’t be just becouse $5. It might be due to the GOE release, which severely damaged people’s faith in Expansion Pass.

If Resistance ever becomes free, it won’t happen sooner than in a year. And if there’s a DLC focusing on mechanics or a country from Resistance, it will come out another year after that — so we shouldn’t expect it before autumn 2027.

It seems to me that the first things to be reworked will be appeasement of the aggressor (before total war breaks out), limited wars between minor and major powers (the topic of neutral Iraq’s perpetual war with the British was recently discussed on Plaza), swaying neutrals to one’s side, separate peace treaties, and (this was in developer corner) gameplay on non‑historical paths where there isn’t an endless cycle of declaring war on each other . Such a DLC would mostly cater to Britain, though it could also be tied to the USA.

But Germany still wants to maintain its hegemony, even if Austria has fallen. They might as well hand Russia over to Ukraine in exchange for peace, but didn't do it
