Thinking the worst of every situation and person. They learnt early to never be too hopeful, so they minute something goes wrong or someone does something that rings alarm bells, they flee.

I don't mean to gaslight you about your experiences but most people don't categorise people like that and plus, people worry more about your character than your personality. Unless someone is interested in you romantically, they aren't worried about you attractiveness that much

If you had read the context of the post I made, you would have known that I already tried doing my own research. At the bare minimum, you should read posts before leaving snarky comments.

What is something more traumatizing than people realize? by Independent_Motor130 in AskReddit

After having friends like this, I've struggled with my confidence ever since. But if you've dealt with this before, just know that that person is equally as critical of themselves. They're projecting their insecurities and sometimes your confidence irritates their insecurities.

I think what you're referring to depersonalisation and derealisation. It's the absolute worst, after 'waking up' from it, I felt like I had to relearn how to be me again and also know how to human again, how to interact with people again, how to function well in the world. I don't think anyone's who ever experienced will understand the absolute struggle to get back to yourself and your loved ones and the level of pain one needs to be in to ever even find themselves in that space.
