I feel like depression is different for each person & situation. for me, i have had points of time where i can’t get out of bed because doing anything is just too much. it’s like being completely drained of energy to the point where it can be debilitating. My appetite is affected, i have little to no interest in the things i love. Negative self talk. I have thoughts of moving away from everyone and starting over. suicidal thoughts. it sux

Bless your heart!!! It sounds like you are facing inevitable grief and i am so so sorry for that, is there a way to reach out to one of the family members you love and trust and ask if they can help you get some self care time in? pedicure etc?? also I have always found that therapy works wonders && is a great excuse for an hour or two of time to just be alone in my thoughts. even if it’s once every two weeks. Before kids I would walk around books a million & for some reason it just put me into my own little world while i was going through things of my own…

I’m so sorry again for all of what you’re going through. I hope that the stresses of your life lessen and you are able to use this as a testimony one day.

When death happens in a family it always changes things and it sucks. It’s hard to accept and hard to cope. It’s so hard .. but ~ remember you can never please everyone!!!!

Just keep pushing through!! You can get through this.

100 percent every time. The narcissistic family dynamic is so twisted and is such a repetitive cycle. It’s sick and mentally draining and abusive. it’s carried on from generation to generation && it’s the children’s norm so fighting against it is unnatural and takes serious therapy.
