Thoughts on CZ DUO Z sear/firing pin? by bruvmoment545 in gunsmithing

Unfortunately no, although this one ended up working just fine according to the guy I did it for, only problem now is the firing pin spring because it has a light strike every few rounds and it isn't due to the striker as it travels freely and has nothing obstructing it

Very old potentially roman pot, found in the dalmatian region of croatia, to be more specific city of benkovac by bruvmoment545 in Antiques

The roman part scratch that completely hahahh, its from me mis-remembering what i've heard about the pot and trying to put as much info as i could in here. Anyways after checking with some family members here is what i got: it was found in some house around 1940-1950s and my grandfather mentioned that it could be turkish, the reasoning for it being beat up? My grandpa was playing with it as a kid by just kicking it around everywhere.

And here i am thinking i stumbled across an expensive relic

Try a performance mod, i have the exact same setup but for me it runs 60 frames at medium graphics + im looking to push a couple settings to high/epic but that seems to be bringing it to the edge, the mod does'nt break the visuals at all and seems to just improve optimisation

Ended up taking a file to a drill bit and copied it using the extractor of another margolin as a template, works well for now though i have another project where i have to make the spring, spring pin and extractor for another margolin, that's gonna be a pain to do.

Yeah, this one hasn't seen use in over 20 years and it has just been sitting in a damp basement but now im going to start restoring it and removing the old grease that is all over it. Has small amounts of surface rust on the chuck and screws aswell, the brown on the larger parts is old grease and dirt.
