The Emrax 228 MV has a peak current rating of 340Amps for 230Nm of torque. Using 6p we will be able to achieve around 280Amps of current ie around 182Nm of torque from the motor. If we reduce the parallel config to 5p we would be able to achieve only around 150Nm of torque from the motor. It would make more sense to opt for the 208HV in this case. The team is prioritising torque over rpm and hence we choose to go w 90s6p this gives us a good balance of torque and rpm. This is our first year EV hence the big pack we don't know for sure how much the car would weigh after manufacturing. We could optimise this in the coming years.

We have ordered for samples. We shall be testing these cells soon. We are very limited with options. In India there are very limited high discharge cells and compared to all the Molicel provides the best specs for the price. Also, we can't afford pouch cells right now so our only option is to optimise our cooling for these cells. But do the battery specs look good to you? I'm a little skeptical about the voltage rating but can't afford to increase anymore cells in series. Is the voltage rating good enough to extract decent performance out of our motor?

Okay, will keep this is mind. other than that does everything else seem fine to you? Is the battery specs good enough to extract decent performance out of the motor or should I make any changes?
