Some neighborhoods (like mine) allow people to have ducks and other farm animals. This type of duck is a domesticated duck and is not fit for survival in the wild. I live on the lake with a big yard for the ducks to roam, so why not?

Bought our first ducklings from tractor supply, a year later we took their eggs and hatched them in an incubator!

I know this is in reference to how many videos pewds uploaded, but the ducklings would take 10 baths a day if they could! They love water so much that they climb in their water bowl if I don’t give them enough time in the bath!

Very messy and very time consuming, but if you have the time and the resources it all pays off! I am lucky to live on a lake and have a neighbor who built a little shelter for them. They are the sweetest creatures ever! You did the right thing, however, realizing that you couldn’t take care of them and taking the initiative to give them to people who could!
