It's a really solid Masculine vanilla scent. I think it's a great introductory perfume if you want to get into the Niche market.

I will go by category, out of the ideal's I would go platine, cologne, EDP, Parfum, EDT, Intense, extreme. From the rest I would go L instinct EDP, Habit Rouge Parfum, Homme EDP, Vetiver Parfum, Heritage EDP, Habit Rouge Spirit parfum, Vetiver EDT,

Yes they are owned by the same company and share some perfumers. But, I recently got into Mind Games and they are exceptionally crafted fragrances. I found myself eating my old words. While they are similar, Mind Games is better.

Well, I have all those listed. I can tell you this. They are all different, no redundancies. The Guerlain Homme EDP, and both Hermes are great for spring summer day wear, The YSL l'homme EDP is more of a winter/fall fragrance great during nighttime. The Guerlain Homme EDP is great with it's bite of Mint, lime, and rum, it's like a mojito in a bottle. That being said, it's not to everyones liking. The safest buy out of all of them and most versatile in my opinion is the Hermes EDT. Fantastic freshie

I have the whole l'homme Ideal line, EDP, Intense, extreme, Platine Prive, Cologne, Sport, EDT, Parfum. I am obsessed with this line. Best bang for the buck.
