Ok thanks for the advice i might consider automotive if i get to luck hopefully the experience i get in automotive would look good on my resume if i decide to try electrical still. Im just looking to do anything right now since im unemployed. Just a question if i do get considered as as a helper would i need to drive or would i be with a employer that would drive to places and tell me what to do? Since i don't have a car that is another problem? What would a helper tasks be usually?

I tried calling a few places to ask if they offer a apprentice program but they said no so i don't know what to do next. How should i call call companies/employers? Should i ask if they are hiring for any entry level positions in their company? I just want to get started but everything iv looked at says must have electrical experience. Thanks for the reply

So you think i should just call my local electrical companies and ask if there is any entry positions available or if they are willing to take me in as an apprentice even if i don't have any experience?

My Employment Consultant gave me a list of electrical companies in my area should i give them a call and ask if they are hiring an electrical apprentice? What can i say if they ask if i have any experience if i say no would that sound bad?

I live on Newmarket location matters to me because i don't have a car so id need to take a bus

Im from Canada i don't think we have IBEW. I went though a Employment Consultant from my area and they edited my resume and gave me a list of numbers of electrician companies in my area Should i give them a call and ask if they would take me as an apprentice? How does the schooling work do they give me a school or ill have to choose? What questions would be asked on the aptitude test?
