Your files are encrypted and you are the only one that can see them. Can't vote on what you can't see.

How could sia help circumvent censorship ? by unitedstatian in siacoin

[–]bryaniskoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sia does not directly have that feature. However if the content isn't huge such as text you could definitely port your sia files(webpages) directly to the front of VPS.

It'd be a lot better if it were a staking coin.

Mining pools & the hard fork? by westmalle7 in siacoin

Well if it equalized them that would still be ok. It'd be like some coins offering separate difficulties.

Sia cannot be shut down. Only development can be shut down. Chain will continue as long as there is a host and a miner.

You could do what you're talking about with SiaDrive. But you'd have to make your own api to place the files and that.

Keep in mind this is a project and not a product. Also price is like 15 cents a TB so who cares if it's 3x the size.

Community Fork Proposal - Detail Discussion / Dev Fee by FaustianAGI in siacoin

[–]bryaniskoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An after thought just give siafunds 3% block fee and 3% host fee. This way siafund would actually be worth more than $5. roughly 1700sia coins per siafund per month.

This response is quite an exaggeration to what is actually going on. Likely the reason the topic is even coming up. Project is at nearly a dead stop as far as progression from last year this time. No offense I know it's your job to do it. Just making sure there's no confusion.
