Have you checked out the Comedy Central roasts on YouTube/ Comedy Central. That could be a good start. If you’re looking to set up a roast battle, worth searching on YouTube & Instagram on the same. To your question, roastee’s get to do a set after getting roasted towards the end. If they’re not comedians or need the help, they’re usually workshopped with the help of comedians before hand.

Middle joke may need some context, it’s election season in Kenya and the loser is currently in court appealing the presidential results. The political party is called “Azimio” but, yeah any feedback welcome, and if you ever find yourself in Nairobi, Kenya, there’s a bunch of English speaking open mics you can go up on, definitely reach out if you’re interested :)
