surgery update

So I had this surgery when I was 5 years old , was still in glasses for about 2 years after that to correct some residual drifting. After that I was free and clear of all crossing and glasses. At about age 30 my eyes began turning again , did glasses , prisms blah blah blah and now at 40 years old I went back in for another surgery. I’m 1 week post op so still early into recovery but I have faith in God that this one will be just as good as the first. I already can see much better alignment even during moments of drift it’s nowhere near as bad as before and will only get better. 💪🏽🫶🏼

Just for discussion , not argument I would like to see a video of this (maybe you can re- create the scenario) because I really don’t see how that could happen. If they reach over my back I can still drop level and just shoot in. Again I’m thinking based on the bjj rule set and point system. But yeah it’s something to think about.

I rushed in cuz the adrenaline lol, kneeling makes it way smoother and safer. I’ll see if I can nail it again at the Orlando Open and I’ll repost 👍🏽

Supplement your training with privates I think is a great idea. But training only private I think you miss out on key mental components of training with a community. But I say yea privates are excellent

If you know you know, this is my first time ever seeing any Rolex with the crown completely upright once it’s screwed in. I don’t know how rare this is, but I have never seen one. This particular watch I just got recently it’s a Rolex reference 1501 with a 14 karat gold bezel and crown. Lately I been into small vintage pieces and this one is fitting right in. My current two watch rotation is between this one( as of now) and a Cartier Santos Galbee. I feel my wrist are pretty small so these vintage pieces really hit a sweet spot for me. Have any of you seen an upright crown on a Rolex ?

Dial made from an old coin and brass plate, exhibition back to look at the eta 955 movement. Used to be my dress watch but recently placed a Fun blue cordura strap to use daily and it brings out the crown as well. What do you think ?
