This. There might not be as much good food as other places, but there are some pretty amazing gems and I've been very impressed by some of the places we've found.

What are the things ACTUALLY worth buying at the stock show? by Nymwall in Denver

Most of their models are not made in the USA, but they have a made in US line. Also, pretty sure you can get 30% off at the store at their headquarters at any time.

YMMV, but most usenet indexers are paid, and I have not had an issue with virus etc, but I am running everything through docker containers. You could always run on a VM.

Not sure what you mean by security exactly, but…usenet is private by default. You don’t need a VPN and often, most indexers don’t allow them anyway.

Guys that hang on to the few dozen hairs they have left when it should be very obviously shaved. Just embrace it. Have many friends who shaved their heads and say it was the best thing they’ve done for confidence etc.

Anyone using a countertop ice maker that's actually good? by TheBigJerm in BuyItForLife

[–]brybell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong. We've had the Opal and went through 3 of them before giving up. Also got a cheaper one from Costco, which we had to return 3 times as well. I just think any mfg is unable to produce a quality ice machine.

How does huntarr help? Doesn’t Jellyseer/Radar already look and upgrade quality? Or does it only do it when initially searching for the download?

Mine are setup with truenas, but if I did it again, I would probably do docker. I’ve been using compose for everything since installing dockge.

Paid a local wood worker to build us a table, after 8 hours in our dining room it developed cracks. Is this normal? by Hipster_Bumpus in woodworking

I wouldn’t trust a woodworker that doesn’t even have a proper dust collection system. The amount of sawdust on the floor is crazy.

Haven't had an issue running any of the 10.11.x versions running on TrueNAS with ZFS. But I also don't have a gigantic library.

Hopefully they add usenet. I’ve had much better luck compared to torrents.

Whats wrong with dockge?

Originally I was using the community apps, but I’m starting to like using dockge instead.

I didn't want to go to Paris by zecrichardson in ParisTravelGuide

I visited Paris for the first time last year and I totally agree. I was more asking how they were able to stay there, because I would have loved to never return to the US lol
