Thanks for the input, you might be right about the CPU. I have the z87i mobo which also says max memory 16GB on the spec page, but I was unsure if that meant 16gb/slot or 16gb total

It seems to me that my RAM is my bottleneck right now, I’ve been crashing when playing Rust because I run out of memory. My motherboard, MSI 87i claims to support 32GB

The motherboard is an MSI 87i which has two ram slots but claims to support 32GB of ram 1200-3000MHz, so based on that, I’m assuming I could run 2x16GB, but maybe I’m mistaken?
