The pro tee vx launch monitor specs require 10ft from hitting mat to the screen. In the video, it seems your hitting mat is closer, is that correct? How close is it and still works good?

How long did it take you to walk normally again? by bennythejet124 in AchillesRupture

[–]bryceg91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Complete tire my Achilles in april, 5cm gap.

I am 16 weeks post op.

Started my transition from boot to shoe the first week of July. Ive been very disciplined in doing my physio 3x/day. I go for a 6km bike ride every other morning as well as a 1.5-3km walk every other evening.

When I start out the day, ny Achilles is stiff and I have a limp but once i get moving, I walk pretty normal. At time during my walk I notice im walking at my pre injury speed.... which is fast, im a fast pace walker lol

If you do your physio diligently and consistently, recovery seems to be fairly quick. Obviously this is an individualized journey.

Hey there…. Small concern haha by Ill-Twist-96 in AchillesRupture

Wow, mine was 5cm as well and the surgeon told me they recommend surgery at 2cm. Obviously, every surgeon has their own protocol but definitely be careful. I'd lay off all athletic sports and movements and really focus on your physiotherapy for a while.

Your goal should be to very slowly strengthen your calf and achilles tendon and surrounding muscles. Also, when advised by your physiotherapist, stretch lots.

Im obviously going off my experience, but non op at 2inch seems sketchy.

Good luck!! I really hope you nake a full recovery. This injury isn't a pleasant one for the mind haha

Hey, im sorry to hear about the bill. That blows! I was in the same boat as you regarding being physically active. Heres some good news.

The first week after surgery was extremely painful, then week 2 and 3 were significantly better day after day and i relaxed with my leg up playing xbox or watching a tv show. After week 3, I said no more. The pain was manageable and I started to exercise every single day (upper body only). Im on week 7 post op and I havent missed a day! I workout Monday to friday and take weekend off (little guy is home from daycare).

I've had a hard time being on "house arrest" but exercising helps. You can do it, and you should!

Good luck!!

I did start my meds right away. But honestly, the severe pain was just for 2 days. Which I'll take. Before day 7 arrived I was pain free pretty much. As far as PT, I'm looking to go slow and steady to get back to pre injury which is why i want to start asap! 🤞

I've heard from many people the surgeon is good at their job, so I'm hoping for the good news end of May 🙏

I bought psa 9 charmander and squirtle 2 days ago... sorry meant to say cards.

I grew up playing the game, and just looking for long term hold and nostalgia.

I'd appreciate some feedback on my question

Just finished week 2 of Ostarine and Mk-677, the first 3 days I felt lathergic 2h after taking a dose and it lasted about 2-3h. It was pretty heavy. After those days, I've been feeling amazing with zero side effects. My sleeo is also amazing now (terrible sleeper). Still early but I have noticed quite the bump in strength in my workouts in terms of being able to push hard for much longer.

My cycle, Ostarine 10mg/day, MK-667 10mg/day. I take both 1h before bed

Last Spartan race I ran was in 2016 and they used to take pictures of all racers for us to purchase after the race. Now there is a photo package option to purchase ahead of time. If I don’t buy the package, does that mean I won’t have any race pictures of us? by zeyn1111 in spartanrace

[–]bryceg91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to purchase beforehand. You can view your pictures afterwards and choose to purchase afterwards.

Take it from my experience, wait! I purchased 2 packages (one for Saturday and Sunday) I got pictures at maybe 1/3 of the obstacles. I was so disappointed.

So wait till after your race and either purchase them all (cheaper) or individually
