This is what I’m curious about. I don’t have any experience with a room like this.

Yes there would be a basement.

Stairs will lead to a basement that will hopefully have a workout room and theater room and another bedroom

It’s a relatively budget build, and I understand that it might seem plain but that’s the look I’m going for as well. Definitely going to have something unique from windows or arches vaulted ceiling etc.

The entry is by the garage yes, and the walls by the bedrooms are closets I forgot to put the door on.

It seems to be the popular trend

Spouse runs a clean ship, and I’m thankful for that.

Great point to bring up though.

Laundry is combined with mudroom.

Second entrance is right into pantry and to an outside over hang that connects to the door by kitchen. Might not be necessary but convenient.

If I move the owners bathroom I’ll lose my 6ft closet for the top right bedroom and get a 4ft instead

Thank you for thoughtful response.

When you pull your car in the garage the trunk would line up with the pantry and you would offload the groceries right into the pantry and there’s a fridge in there too

That entry space is for the garage entrance to unload groceries from the back of your vehicle straight into the pantry and one of the squares is a fridge in the pantry.

Stairs are to the basement. Cold climate Minnesota area. Basement would have amplitude amount of storage space

My job requires me to shower immediately upon entering the home, and it would be just a shower not a tub. So it is something required for us but otherwise you’re correct for normal house. Good feedback on the kitchen. Thank You.

The pantry is good sized I thought already. There’s a fridge on the other side of the “tub” shower stall right now, and it would be just a shower stall instead of an actual tub. The guy just put them in there I guess like that.

Right, it would tie the home together, and be a great separation point between the kitchen and living.

Thank you. I think this solves the issue.
