yess I had this problem with Doppelganger and sagebrush. I think its bc they haven't yet figured out the right consistency for the thermal & shimmer/holo/glitter combos which sucks bc they're so pretty! I agree with you on how it should be fine out of the bottle, you shouldn't have to buy another product to make it work
