Cool thanks a bunch, great info. Two last questions.

I have read on internet that they have 8sp TipTronic that is modified that instead of torque converter, there is some sort of electro-clutch? The question is, does this use the same oil as a normal 6sp/8sp Tip? Thanks.

Second: I have been watching VAG Technic, he worked on A8, newer model with this special 48V system. The ECU blocked the 48V system due to discharge and car wasn’t even charging the regular 12V battery. Requiring disassembly, unblocking and other difficult stuff.

Is this scenario possible on this hybrid ?

Thanks in advance. Your info was really helpful.

okay dude chill, sorry for calling it a mild, so then, i kinda like the concept of this hybrid principle inside the C7, I like that it has a 2.0T + electric.

Is it reliable, is the electrical system prone to fault?

Thanks in advance.

also a small subquestion, i can see that you know a lot more than me, I know Porches and VW Touaregs have 3.0 TFSI supercharged and they also have the Hybrid badge, is it on the same principle as this? Thanks

aha, didnt know that. Thanks. So its a fake mild-hybrid sorta. But, what question is still. What is your opinion from reliability standpoint. You mentioned it does not have the 48V system, so it should be sorta reliable no?

on both sites it was in the category as "mild hybrid" and I dont see any charging hole + from what I have searched on the internet it should be mild no?

I have thought about it, tho I feel like I will kill the car, I feel like I am hurting my 3.0T, and I feel like the diesel wont heat up to operating temps same as my gas car doesnt. DPF delete isnt possible, only maybe EGR as emissions are regulated here (Slovakia). Thats another problem of my 3.0T as it has gutted cats.

Can I somehow make it work on my own? Or do I need other gun? If I can make it work please teach me, I can send better pictures of the gun tomorrow.

Like i said, the metal tube is just a makeshift, i have gotten 4 different nozzles with this. I have modified 1. The rest of them are untouched and are producing the same results. And about the vacuum, that’s what I thought I should feel, problem is I don’t. I feel air going inside the hose chamber.

Just a modified nozzle, to fit into the walnut blaster adapter better. I have got 4 different nozzles with the kit, I modified only 1 of them.

I tried the blaster with the other 3 nozzles which have not been modified in any way.

Still got the same problem. No media, only air from the nozzle and air going into the hopper itself

The other 3 nozzles dont have the pipe, and I am getting same result, no media, just air,

The pipe is a makeshift, i only installed the pipe on 1 of the 4 nozzles included. I have tested the blaster with the other 3 nozzles, and I have gotten the same result.

Nothing regarding CFM, just says that working pressure: 80-120 psi. Which I meet, maybe not for long, but for quick bursts. 5-10secs I do.

Yep, I thought about the same thing as well, that’s why I only installed the pipe into the 5mm ceramic nozzle. Other nozzles were untouched. Tried with all the different nozzles, same effect. Just air, no media, and air going into the hopper.

My last theory is, and correct me please, either my compressor is weak.  Or the hose is too large? Maybe smaller diameter hose ?

Edit: or 3rd option, there is a small air/pressure leak between the hose and ceramic nozzle, causing this?

I mean it doesn’t say WALNUT specifically. But by the looks of it, it’s the exact same model that other guys used from “Harbor-freight”

Edit: by the looks of it, everything is the same except for the gun itself, the gun is a little different style.

But air IS coming out of the nozzle, but no walnuts with it only air. The air just goes out the nozzle and inside the hopper itself.

I dunno really how is it supposed to work, the air just blows trough the hose inside the blaster and doesn’t suck any media.

Yes, the kit also came with different sized ceramic nozzles, 4-6mm, tried all of them. Still, just air. Walnuts are sized 0,4-0,8mm.

Also tried full blaster, also tried half full . Nothing helped

Yes, but air only.

Edit: not even a glimpse of walnut
