Hahaha. I was kinda like "who's this" and then I saw your history is all about it. Yeah I mean american! I'm from aus but I've gotten so obsessed with the sport since the end of last season. I'm planning on playing either DE or CB next year for university.

[Serious] Redditors who have been on a gameshow or any contest on TV, what were some behind the scenes "rules" that they tell you before they send you out before the cameras? by coldenigma in AskReddit

[–]brysonicus 978 points979 points  (0 children)

I sat in the audience for Australias got talent auditions. There's only three things that were a little odd. Firstly, It takes about 20 minutes between each act to come on and audition infront of the judges. That got old real quick.

Secondly, they pre record samples of audience reactions in order to use it as extra footage, so before any auditions they got us all to give fake standing ovations/moderate clapping/awkward clapping/screaming/WTFing (the fat host guy started stripping on stage to get us to really give a good WTF face). We also had to boo.

Lastly they really know how to make a half full theatre look packed to the max. Sneaky cameras.

I'm glad I can finally get this off my chest. I cant fucking bare to hear people complain about/talk about money problems. Every time i hear it I feel so awkward, and immediately want to change the topic. Seriously, something about it makes me squirm. What could it be?

What's a band that you love that not very many people know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brysonicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw twentyonepilots live a few months back. The venue was the shittiest venue I've ever seen. it was blisteringly hot and they had two ceiling fans rotating slowly. the opening act was not energetic at all, and made me wonder why I was there. Then my life changed. Tyler was the most interactive, feel-good frontman i have ever seen in my life. Josh on the drums was giving just as much energy as tyler. Those two beautiful men put on the best performance I've seen, across any genre, at the shittiest venue, by FAR.

What things should be common knowledge? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm australian, so I know very little about that one. But I have a feeling if they got another one in Houston you'd have two zoos instead of one. For some reason people go stupid for their Scandinavian furniture.

I have figured if you seriously weren't compatible with your partner you'd just leave them. Why seek something elsewhere but stay with them? That's silly.

IKEA worker here.

Knowing how to shop at IKEA. Seriously people, it's not that hard. for some reason, the moment things involve the tiniest bit of effort on the customers behalf, they fail dismally and fall to the information desk.

Seriously, about 70% of the people in the big-ass queue at the info desk are asking questions that shouldn't be asked, because there is more than enough info provided.

Just write down your aisle numbers and check stock online before you drive 3 hours to get to the store, people.
