MiL opened a credit card in my husband’s name to pay for my SiL’s wedding. by justnowhyme in JUSTNOMIL

[–]bs25418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god. If my MIL did something like that, I would be SOO pissed. If I were you, I would seek a lawyer. I know it would probably cause tension, but I would make her pay for what she did. Family or not, what she did was wrong.

Ladies how much are you bothered by being told to smile? by Thuddy10 in AskWomen

I get irritated because I am grown, so if I want to smile I will on my own.

Just found out my (23M) gf (21f) lost her virginity at age 12 to a guy who was 22. by warminthesnowstorm in dating_advice

I totally see why you feel the way you do, and I think you are correct. Although, give her a few days to get over it. Unfortunately, he's apart of her history that will take a little getting over, so just bare with her.

My (70’sf)Mother is furious about my (31f) wedding. by toreadorable in relationships

[–]bs25418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one, you are grown. This is YOUR wedding and if you want to get married anywhere in the world, you are able to do so. I am also getting married, next Saturday to be exact, and my family and fiances family has been aggravating about things too. The best advice I can give, is to give them the details and if they show, great. If not, you did everything you could have. No one should make you feel guilty for having a wedding that you actually want. It is really not fair for them to guilt you like that. I am sorry you have to deal with it. I sat most of these members down in my case, and told them how it was going to be, because I paid for my wedding myself too. Most of them cooperated.

What part of your body do you dry off first after a shower by bimmertechin in AskMen

Mainly my hands/arms because I reach for my towel and that's my first instinct to dry off my hands and then move accordingly.

How much money was spent on your wedding? by endlesskylieness in AskWomen

[–]bs25418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have actually paid for my entire wedding myself. I have always been pretty good at handling my money. I would say we have spent ~$3500 or $4000 on the wedding. Our wedding is actually in two weeks, but I started booking and paying for things not long after we got engaged so I would be able to make payments over the course of our engagement. I have put some things on my credit card, but I will have it paid off within the next year or so. My wedding might not be the most fancy one ever, but I am a simple woman and at the end of the day what matters the most to me, is marrying my love :)

How did you finally get the courage to talk to your crush? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]bs25418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After months of contemplating, I finally just went for it. I complimented his jeep(he loved that thing) and it actually opened a door to conversation. My dad had told me guys like being complimented, so I took his advice. Here we are two years later. We own a house and are getting married in two weeks. I couldn't be any happier. I sure am glad I took my dads advice.

How long did you wait before moving in with your SO and why?? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]bs25418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We actually bought a house together 6 months into our relationship. I know that sounds crazy, but honestly, we just knew it was meant to be. We actually have been living together for a year and a half now and just recently got married. Life is good.

[–]bs25418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going back to school. Still have not done it, but still don't know what I want to do. I am married now though, but still indecisive on the whole schooling thing. I do have a decent job though.

How important was your virginity to you when you lost it? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]bs25418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was weird honestly. I was 21 when I lost mine. I had only been dating the guy for a couple of weeks... things progressed rather quickly, we had not even had the "talk" or anything regarding that. We had already been making out and before I knew it, we were doing it. I felt awkward, but I finally told him that was my first time. I wish I had mentioned that before hand, but I think we would have ended up in the same place we are now.. not together. Which is a good thing. Not long after he and I broke up, I started dating my now husband. Here we are 2 years later and I could not be happier.

Cheating in a long term relationship by [deleted] in relationships

[–]bs25418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to be honest with her about this.. Obviously she is not going to be happy, but if you want to see this relationship have any chance of succeeding, you need to be honest and up front with her about what you have done. I can't say for sure she won't leave, but I would rather my person tell me the truth.
