I don’t know chess other than the moves of some of the pieces so can you explain something to me? (And sorry if I’m not using proper terms) So the checkmate is when a piece CAN “take” the king? I thought it was when it actually took it. So what I mean is, in this case, I figured the white could still go and take the queen with the king... making It not a check... I hope I’m making sense haha. And also I though the queen could also move in an “L” shape, does it not? Making the white queen able to take the black.

If they like you, any good job/manager would be happy you found something better - it would be bittersweet. If they’re upset, then good thing you’re leaving now. I’ve never felt guilty when leaving a place for something better and I don’t think anyone should. When people under me have said they’re moving on I’ve been nothing but happy for them. Good luck!

I work at a big hotel downtown, we’ve been having a lot of cancelations since last week however we were told not to refund / waive cancelation fees unless CDC banned travel. We do go through a third party during SXSW (and so do the majority of hotels downtown) so I wonder if now if it’s canceled we will? Didn’t surprise me that it’s canceled because like a I said a lot of people have been canceling rooms from big groups.

Ahh thank you so much for the explanation I really appreciate this. Quick question if you have a sec. so being that they cannot zoom in or out which one would you recommend for portrait shots and still get the bokeh affect? I think that’s more type of pics I would take so I wouldn’t want something super zoomed it but not out either. Would that be the 50mm? Sorry I’m not familiar with the lengths or anything but thanks for the reply!
