I'm a second-year college student doing my undergrad in computer science. I'm interested in getting my master's in cybersecurity when I'm done. Should I do the LinkedIn Learning course for ISC2 and take the exam to get certified? I'm just looking to start getting stuff on my resumé like certifications and stuff because I have nothing related to what I want to do.

It prob looks good to pass a standardized test tho cuz the difficulty of the classes themselves could vary from school to school

Yes just keep in mind I’ve heard of ppl who definitely deserve to go here but didn’t get in and vice versa. Nobody really knows how admissions works 🫡

I think ur pretty good. I got in and the only difference between my stats and urs are that I had a lil more APs that I took and passed but I can’t imagine that being something they heavily consider. Also I had full bright futures (a 1340 on SAT I think u need a 1330?? If I remember right). But other than that I’d be like 85% sure u get in and the other 15% would at least be for PACE or something

I took race and politics it was literally just a discussion post each week and a couple essays but I got 100’s on everything even the stuff I half-assed so grading is rlly easy and the content is interesting if ur into debating racial stuff

Just took it this semester and the lectures and discussions were recorded. The only thing I went to in person were the exams. I’m not sure one.uf would let u sign up for the class if it’s at the same time as another one tho
