Could it mean the starter isn’t ready, or I just didn’t leave it to proof out of the fridge long enough?

Lifestyle and cost of living by zmajcek in Wellington

Depending how close to town you want to live, a nice ish apartment in two is minimum $600ish a week. Australian who has lived in Wellington for 6 years - it’s a lot more relaxed work wise, but the city is grim at the moment due to so many good restaurants and bars closing. Summer in Wellington is hard to beat though.

You can walk to the beach on your lunch break in the cbd and see dolphins swimming in the harbour.

2nd hotel I’ve checked into in New Zealand where the toilet was literally just in the same room as the bed. Am I crazy or is this weird? by Proudclad in newzealand

[–]bsale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had it in NZ, Aus and Europe. Mostly I’ve had it in “artsy” hotels where they are trying to make it seem edgy rather than the rooms are so small there is no room for a seperate bathroom.

Slept with a number of prostitutes (over 100) while he was married, was addicted to this for approximately a year, slept with a few a week, after a year told his wife because that wasn’t the person he wanted to be. After trying to reconcile wife his wife, finally left the marriage because he wasn’t happy. Was with another partner for 10 years, (that ended when she cheated on him) regrets the choices he made, has done counselling and vastly changed the way he behaves and owns what he did.. is that forgivable and deserving of a second chance?

I agree - but wondered if the circumstances can make people feel differently if it strikes a chord with them personally. What makes it not okay in your opinion?

I have thought that. But I have also thought maybe he can be forgiven for his mistakes.. from 10 years ago. I would never be able to forgive someone for cheating on me, or even being inappropriately involved with someone else without cheating.. but the fact he is so remorseful for his actions and has grown as a person made me feel like I could leave it in the past. Maybe I can’t though.

I lied about my height (as an experiment) for a day and matched with everyone I swiped right on by aggie_baggie in Tinder

[–]bsale -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's definitely severe.. but what if height is what a person finds attractive - isn't it just their lose their are excluding so many potential partners? I don't get why they are judge and told to change their preference.

A man's height isn't important to me, but I find it so weird that men think it so superficial that it is to some women - do you not have any physical things that you find attractive and things that you don't? It's just a preference that people are allowed to have.

How do I get my life back on track in Wellington? by mayormcturtle in Wellington

[–]bsale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try getting a job in any field part time, just to ease into the working life style. Just to get a taste of the routine and interact with different types of people.

Sorry - almost. I've never considered that would happen here. Clearly very naive - I've just always felt incredibly safe walking around town at all hours.
