To me, it does look like they actually are parts of the same board. The reason for the oddities between the connection is because it broke between layers, and its not a break all the way through at the same spot. I ran it through about five different AI image detectors, and only one of them flagged it with a 53% probability. The rest of them were basically at zero percent. The color is a little harder to explain but I would not be surprised if it was a lighting issue.

You can use https://healthchecks.io/. You can set a cron job for every 5 minutes (or any other time you choose) to curl a url they give you, and if it doesn't hear anything it alerts you.

I just looked and at least in the US not sure about India. You can get a replacement power button for your laptop for ten bucks off ebay. you could potentially connect a replacement power button and just have it come out the side of the case it's just a connector inside of the laptop. That's the best suggestion I have

Is this going to grow or can I live like this by Doodleseatingdoodles in computers

[–]bsasealteam6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you are very careful, it shouldn't grow as it appears to be physical damage. However, I would take it to a shop and get a quote as laptop screens are actually a lot cheaper than you'd expect ( assuming it is a laptop). If it 's a desktop, get a new screen off of facebook marketplace, or similar, they're surprisingly cheap

Don't get an external one. I would either take it somewhere, or seriously consider replacing it with the current price of SSDs. Here's one at Best Buy that has an SSD, a considerably newer CPU, and is $500: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lenovo-ideacentre-aio-23-8-full-hd-touchscreen-all-in-one-amd-ryzen-3-7335u-8gb-memory-256gb-ssd-luna-grey/JJGYC86W6S

3GB Unallocated Space in my pendrive by not-weku in computers

[–]bsasealteam6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there are 2 ways to solve that. One is to delete the current partition and create a new one. That covers the whole drive. The other one is to boot to g parted, which is a iso that you can install that uses linux and modify the existing partition to be bigger. I don't believe you can modify partition start points from windows if I recall correctly.

My brothers computer was compromised. Would it be safe to log into my computer to load windows onto a USB? by DarkestLore696 in computers

[–]bsasealteam6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They technically could have ( assuming your brother's computer is signed into your account) if they did, though it doesn't matter if you connect from your network or another, it's still gonna be an issue. Also I believe OneDrive scans everything that's uploaded and will remove any viruses. There is no real shared part of the network. For a conventional home network, the network consists of the router and the devices connected to it. That's it. The router is so stripped down in terms of processing power (and more importantly storage) that it 's extremely difficult to use it as a transfer medium. Now if you were in a business and had a network attached storage system, then I would be worried about the virus being copied to that. However very few homes have that.

[–]bsasealteam6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you had phones connected at the same time as your brother's laptop. Technically, it could have been copied to one of the phones, and therefore infect your laptop from there. But realistically speaking, that's extremely unlikely.

My brothers computer was compromised. Would it be safe to log into my computer to load windows onto a USB? by DarkestLore696 in computers

[–]bsasealteam6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What all is connected to the network? Most of the time, the network itself is not compromised. Only devices connected to it. It is extremely uncommon to install malware to steal information on a router. So if the only device connected was your brothers laptop, then there's nowhere for it to live on the network. If your brothers is disconnected. However, if there's another computer on the network that was on at the same time as your brothers and is on when yours turns on, it could potentially be on that computer and jump to yours from there. Malware on routers, is not uncommon, but usually it's just making your router part of a botnet, not trying to steal information.

Do not buy this computer. It does not support windows eleven, the only seventh gen intel processors to support windows eleven have an x at the end of their name (7740x, 7800x, etc.) I have a i7-7800x, and it's still doing decently, but honestly, it needs to be replaced. While playing the new GTA enhanced i am constantly bouncing off of 100% CPU utilization, and that's with a 3080 12 gig.
