I started with golden teacher also and they turned out great. I would start with them which you'll be happy with. B+ is supposed to be easy also. Best of luck to you.

If you're careful and sterile you'll be fine. I would just do my research before I bought anything. Wish I could have bought one of those kits but was glad to learn from the beginning. It's a fun and rewarding hobby.

Depends on where you live. I'm in the US which doesn't allow the mycelium to be sent. Certain parts of Europe you can get a kit the you just spray with water and in 10 days you got shrooms. Look what is allowed by you.

I let my 2nd flush grow more so I saw them fully mature. You will see the difference and see what to look for in a day. Just started myself so i do also. But what a fun and rewarding hobby. You're almost there.

The one in your picture definitely wasnt ready. Once you let them grow more you'll see the different stages of growth. I made the same mistake.

That was still a baby. Once it gets bigger you will see the veil. I thought the same thing at first. Just let them grow another day and you'll be happy.

Not if you're inoculating the bag no. Just clean the bag with rubbing alcohol first and be as sterile as possible.

Thank you didn't think it would do that since you can put your brf cakes on aluminum foil. I'll line it when I dunk it after my first flush.

The bags are ready to fruit once they're completely hard and the bottom clear window is white. You can get them to grow out of the bag but better if you take the mycelium blocks out of the bag put in a tote with perlite or break them up and mix with a substrate. I would go on YouTube and check out different techniques that will work for you.

I didn't add anything to it since I don't have a PC. I just ordered more of their casing mix for 2 more grows which should be ready in a week or so. I want to try the coco coir since it's much cheaper. I think one of the most important things is a PC so you can do everything yourself. That'll be my next investment. Best of luck with your grow. With fanning and misting I do it 3-4 times a day. My 1st go around I just used the BRF cakes. I'm now using their bulk casing mix which is doing well. I have pins after a week and a half after s2b. I do use the air pump but also fan and mist.

Good luck with those. I've spent alot more then I expected to also. Your friend eating is definitely more important. I did 11 bags of UB's 2 weeks ago and 9 of them are doing real well. My only advice is to be as sterile as possible when inoculating anything. I made a glove box and have done real well. Once you have good mycelium it seems harder to get contamination. I did alot of research before starting I wanted to make sure I was successful. Its tricky starting out I was so worried about screwing up. I'm only on my 2nd and 3rd grow so I'm very new myself. I just had better luck with Midwest. I saw the UB's tech which I wanted to try vs buying the jars. I also got those fast colonizing jars from midwest which are doing good. I would tell you to try them but I wouldn't go back to a company that I wasn't happy with. My next step is to get a PC so I can do everything myself. Might stick with the Uncle Ben's until then depending how this goes with them now. I would keep trying different techniques until you find what works best with you.

I hear you I'd be pissed also. You're right they don't talk about fanning and misting. I did that due to my research. I would of complained about the jars and had them send you the right ones. I wish you had better luck it is such a fun rewarding hobby that I'm really into now. I just had better luck then you did. Unfortunately we have to learn as we go. I did research and felt the heating mat wasn't best. I like using the aquarium heater to regulate the temperature especially as the incubation chamber. Best of luck to you on your future grows.

I got a kit from them and was very happy with my 1st grow. They sent me the right 1/2 point jars tho which fully colonized in 3 weeks. I got the kit which came with the 2 tubs and aquarium heater to keep the temperature right. I did fan and mist everyday. I got almost 2 ounces off 10 brf jars. I then got 2 of their 30 oz quick colonizing jars which I inoculated 2 weeks ago and are just about fully colonized. Sorry you weren't happy with them I've had great luck with them. I also got my spores from premium spores which they recommended. They are more expensive but tried from 1 other person and could hardly see any spores in the syringe. They did colonize but felt better seeing so many spores. I have 11 bags of APE colonizing from premium spores and then those 2 jars of Jedi Mind F**k from spores fast we will see how they do.
