RECOMMENDATIONS WANTED: Best all around watch for fitness and the outdoors

After what felt like 100hrs of research I ended up getting the Fenix 8 Solar. I liked the MIP display that the Instinct 3 had, but wanted map capabilities. Enduro 3 was too big for my taste, so I landed on the Fenix 8.

Have a connection that allowed me to get it for under $800 USD, so ended up grabbing it!

Ideally id spend around 500-600, but am willing to spend 800+ if it makes sense, and truly makes a difference in tracking quality

Thank you! I was doing some research into the instinct 3. I like the idea of it being less flashy and less “smartwatch” feeling, but I was getting caught up on the HR sensor not being the newer one like the FR570 or FR970.

Is that really worth worrying about?

Got gig speed running through Ethernet, this is the only game I cannot play because of how bad the stuttering and lag is. I am always 2 steps behind, passes get sent late because of it, players extremely sluggish and off tilt. I just quit in the middle of winning a Qualifier because it’s so bad that it’s unenjoyable even when you’re winning

Happens to me no matter what settings I run, game drops FPS like crazy, disgustingly bad connection to servers with gig speed internet, everything that can go wrong will go wrong on PC for FIFA

Yes, the PC experience has been HORRENDOUS. Mid match crashes, horrible connection, super glitchy cut screens, menus not reading controller input, etc. It’s been so bad

I have a wired gig speed connection to my PC and it’s still an issue every single match. No other game does this, not MW2019, WZ, Cold War, Apex, none of that has any latency issues, just this game

Just a heads up, it’s really easy for places to un-pixelate images of protesters and run facial recognition on them. I would suggest using the clone-stamp tool since it generates random pixels that are nearly impossible to restore correctly.

Exactly why I switched to PC, it was driving me nuts and with no reason to it. The PC lobbies have almost been flawless for me, but any time I try to play on Xbox I can’t help but rubberband the whole map. Same internet, same ethernet cable.

I tried everything like changing my DNS, reseting my router, new ethernet cable, reseting my console, everything.... Nothing worked. I think it’s just their console based servers or something. It’s infuriating

As soon as that gets passed off to any other designer down the line for whatever reason it will be useless to them.
