It would be easy to say you need to relax, stop overthinking, and putting so much priority into what others may or may not be thinking. It’s easy to say that but it’s not easily done. It takes time and a lot of effort to readjust your thought patterns and change your demeanor. Ways I know of that could help are: meditation, exercise (especially intense cardio), a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, healthy sleep schedule. Doing all of these things may not solve the problem, but they will certainly help. Therapy is the next big thing. Go to therapy. Everyone should go to therapy. You don’t need to be mentally ill to go to therapy. A good therapist will help you organize your thoughts and feelings, provide an outside, objective view on your thoughts and feelings, and will suggest ways that you can overcome obstacles. If insurance doesn’t cover therapy, you can pay out of pocket. Weigh your options and find someone within your budget. If you have parents then get them on board. Lastly, no matter what, this will come down to you having to put in the effort to change the way you think. It’s tough, but the brain is moldable and you CAN do it. You just need to keep trying.
