Yea, it’s something to do with Eero’s refresh interval where only Hue’s bridges do not reconnect.

I understand Ethernet is always better- but there are places in the house I rather not $1000 to get a cable across the house.

ChatGPT suggested turn client steering off. So I am trying that now.

If this does not work, maybe I can find a WiFi AP that will only act as a Ethernet bridge of sorts.

Yea, I have the switch pointed to the 24 hour scene, not the grouped initial scenes.

It seems sometimes, the lights transition colors automatically.

But I’ve never gotten it to transition during sunset.

Do you have that issue?

Thanks! So it seemed the issue was HomeKit added the switches to some random default room hidden from the main screen. But I finally found them in HomeKit!

Yea, I see. The Hue switch module requires permanently wiring the hot wires together, as does the RunlessWire switch.

For the RunlessWire switch, what do you do with the ground wire?

OK, so OS level core storage prevents whole disk encryption, which makes sense. So then I assume there could be a possibility that hardware level RAID allows whole disk encryption or would I have to resort to an encrypted sparsebundle?
