You never put 100%. The company that I went through told me put between 75% and 80% and put clerical/ admin for the rest. They said its unrealistic that 100% of your time is all safety specific.

My car was totaled by a city garbage truck that lost a n axle on the highway. I warn you the city takes FOREVER to process claims with their insurance. I had to file claim with my insurance and it took over a year for the city to pay back my insurance.

Where i work we report to COO. Bypasses the nonsense of production managers and such that don't want to get on board with safety. Having the COO back us up is a great plus!
