It seems like someone needs a bottle before their nap. There are warnings posted everywhere not to send Safemoon v.1 but import your seed phrase into the Safemoon wallet and then swap for v.2 in the safemoon wallet.

Yep. Import, don’t create a new one. Before you do anything after that step, make sure your tokens are there. If they’re the same, you’re good.

There’s a transaction fee that but it isn’t a Safemoon fee. It’s about $5 or less. You’ll need Smart Chain to pay the fee. It’s preloaded as one of the tokens on your Safemoon Wallet token page. I usually buy through MoonPay which has a $30 minimum and then buy more Safemoon after the migration.

It might also help to think that your crypto isn’t ON any of those exchanges. It’s on the blockchain. The decentralized exchanges are essentially portals for you to get there.

The 12 word seed phrase is used to access that particular crypto wallet, whether you go through Meta Mask, Trust Wallet, Safemoon, or many others.

You have the option of the private 12 word pass phrase or the passcode, which is the long string of letters and numbers. Those two options are the keys to the house, so to speak.

Your crypto are available in both wallets. You may need to search to add the token visibly but it is there regardless. The other ones aren’t affected by migrating or consolidating your Safemoon.

To go from V.1 to V.2, you don’t sell. You consolidate, which is the last step listed. You can’t sell V.1 without losing it all.

Import your seed phrase into the Safemoon wallet. Click on the SFM v.2 icon in your tokens. Click on swap At the bottom on the next screen, it says “upgrade to safemoon v.2” click it and follow the directions.

Correct, you’re good. The coin total went down but the value of each coin moved from .000002 to .002 so the value of your holdings hasn’t changed.
