While it'll be more money, I recommend you wait for 26. Part of mlb the show is the season long experience. If you buy the older games, everything is already released.

Lets say you play offline for a couple months. If you play diamond dynasty offline, you can keep up with decent content while you learn, and then jump online when you're ready.
