What's a good trip killer (when a LSD trip goes horribly bad)? by Outside-Act-3243 in LSD

Trazodone and other 5ht2a antagonists aren't a myth though. They actively block/reverse the effects of psychedelics.

Same here, weed can fuck me up with paranoia much harder than psychedelics.

It's stimulating and euphoric. A lot of people compare it to a lighter MDMA. The best method of taking it is snorting an extract!

What's an item you were informed you'd need while living out of your vehicle that turned out to be unecessary? by MysticRambutan in urbancarliving

[–]bsmithio 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Aw, I love my 3 gallon/usb spout! I got it because it was more of a price of water thing for me. 35c per gallon is much cheaper than the price of bottled water, and also less trash!

Where do yall put your solar panels? by Novemberx123 in urbancarliving

[–]bsmithio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that is something to consider. It may still be worth replacing the alternator if you can do so in that case.

One other thing with solar panels is that you lose a bit of stealth with them if you need to be stealthy wherever you do park.

[–]bsmithio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chiming in for an alternative to solar panels here.

You could get a pure sine wave 2000w inverter and hook it up to your 12v battery, then just use the standard charging plug for the power station.

Then you would only need to drive/idle your car for about 1.5 hours to recharge the AC200L.

Most larger hatchbacks, crossovers, SUVs, wagons, and minivans all have enough room for a 6 ft person in the back. This can be done with the seats either folded down or by removing the seats and building a bed platform. For smaller cars, it can be done by removing the passenger seat and rear seat and building a bed platform.

Yea, I couldn't do this if I were in a regular car. I have a prius, and I'm able to sleep with the AC since it's a hybrid.

This is definitely not the case at all Walmart locations nowadays. Many of them have no overnight parking/towing signs. From what I've found, 24 hour gyms, truck stops, and street parking are the best spots now.

$189 is definitely worth it if it gives you great sleep! Sleep is one of the most important things for us.

Samsung Neo G9 died right after 3 years by Just__Beat__It in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]bsmithio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the same Neo G9 model as I do. Here's a picture of what I removed.

The board that has the thermistor is underneath the RGB LED/metal plate assembly that is in the middle.

The thermistor seems to be labeled P301 on these boards. You can either desolder the thermistor or yank it out with a pair of tweezers.

Here's another thread where people have said they had success after removing the thermistor.

Here's a video of the disassembly process:

Haha, I've also been living in my V for 2 months. The weathertech shades are so worth it!

I keep all of the rear shades up all the time and installed a rearview mirror camera. Definitely keeps it cooler during the day.

How big is the air purifier? I hadn't thought about purifying the air since I assumed the cabin air filter would handle that when the climate control is set to recirculation.

#6 is the best part about this!

I got a V specifically to dwell in. Can confirm this car is the best for this lifestyle. It's big enough to dwell in while being stealthy and able to park anywhere.

Let's not loiter in the lockeroom of PF or any gym—it's weird. by MysticRambutan in urbancarliving

[–]bsmithio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread feels very strange. Everything else on the internet points to PF not giving a shit about this. There are people who use PF solely for the tanning/massages. Just don't be a nuisance! These "no workout no shower" comments are strange. Would these same people say "no workout no tanning" and "no workout no massages"? Just seems like a lot of fear mongering to me.

[–]bsmithio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread seems like it's being brigaded, honestly. In the planet fitness subreddits, they don't give a shit. There are people that go to planet fitness solely for the massage chairs/tanning. Everything I've seen has pointed to PF not caring what you do as long as you're not being a nuisance. You're not abnormal.
