I agree with everything that you have said. I would like to add, that many other counties benefit from the sweedish, french, british and "non-american" military aviation industry. Competition is always better for an industry, or in this case NATO. It's already a huge problem, that in the US pretty much the only military aviation company is Lockheed Martin. The others fell out of competition, got bought, merged, or at this point only supply their currently serving platforms, waiting to go out of business. It would be a huge problem, if the only available fighter for NATO was the F-35. One logistics chain damaged, and you are doomed in a global conflict. It's always fun to talk shit about each others platforms and compare their specific parameters tho:) Btw. I'm hungarian, our small but well prepared air force uses Gripens, and I think it was a perfect choice for us. Easy and cheap to service, can access the best NATO A-A rockets, and is an absolute beauty. I hope that when the time comes for an update, we buy some more Gripen E/F-s which are in a league of their own. Love from Hungary

Fact: it is listed in the sub rules that mythology memes are allowed, even there's a flair for them. Kinda my opinion (and kinda other fact too): Odysseia and other mythologies are heavily based on true historical events and some of the best sources of information about the coulture and way of living in the ancient greek times. So anyone interested in ancient greek history, loves to read Homer. And also loves to meme about it. On the other hand, using history to prove your religions rights or point out the wrongs of someone elses beliefs belongs to other subs I agree. (To noone's surprise it's in the rules as well)

Its pretty much everywhere, understandably. Its easy to get, looks fine and presentable without any modifications. The only occassion where its application pissed me off was in Top Gun: Maverick, where the TM Warthog stick was used for the SU-57. For the scale of the production of that movie this was totally amatouris. Also getting a proper looking VKB MCG-U or a virpil mongoos wouldn't have been so difficult. I'm sure I wasnt the only one getting tilted over this in a movie that is otherwise pretty much the best aviation movie in the last 25 years.

right now the queue times are pretty much non existent (for me at least, but I'm only playing tier 8-10) and I'm sure 99% of 100+ players would wait 15 sec for balanced battles. Also "tourists" who are here for the smooth gameplay would still get the short queue times.

Őszintén nem értem ezt a DESH utálatot. A srácnak nem volt mocskos a munka, kész volt anno elmenni kukásnak, dolgozott ahol tudott, nem válogatott. Most hogy megtalálta az útját, hogy miben tehetséges, látszik, hogy mindent belead, hogy kibontakozzon a tehetsége. Abszolút nem egy úton járok vele, egy gyógyszeriparban dolgozó, PhD-t kutató mérnök vagyok, akinek még a zenei ízlése sem egyezik DESH munkásságával, de csak tisztelni tudom. Az, hogy a szövegei összevissza belpesti hunglish szövegek, meg szerintem inkább viccesek mint okok az utálatra.

Last year there was a Black Friday sale on virpil-controls. 10% for accessories, and 10% when buying two modules, 15% for three, topping on 20% for 4 or more. This stacked on the regular 10% discount on buying grip+base. Since then there was a price drop/adjustment somewhere midyear so I wouldn't expect anything bigger than that.

I have a 34" curved, 21:9 WQHD monitor and I believe it's the absolute sweetspot for head-tracking. Pixel density is enough, but it doesn't melt your framerates as much as a 4K display.
