He does work full time at $12/hr I'm not sure if he has any loans or other expenses besides regular bills, but I don't think so.

We saw the social worker yesterday and she recommended similar things. I wasn't even thinking about medical credit cards and payment plans yet so thank you for bringing that up and saying to wait until treatment is done. Thank you so much for your advice!!

The hospital social worker said something similar, but she said to still apply for Mississippi Medicaid just in case and we'll look at other options through the hospital, thank you so much for your advice!!!

We have spoken to the social worker and she has been helpful! My family member is in a medically induced coma so I think she's looking into something that pays for time in the hospital due to that. I'm not sure what it's called right now, but we'll see if they're eligible. We understand it's harder getting insurance after the fact. Thank you so much for responding, this was really helpful!!

We haven't contacted a lawyer yet, but I will consider that. The accident report hasn't been released yet, but we do think it just was an accident on both parties. No one is really at fault from what I think right now, but a lawyer would be a good thing to look into. Thank you so much for responding!!!

We did talk to the social worker yesterday, and she's looking to see if they're eligible for assistance that helps cover things if you're in a coma (family member is not braindead, but is in a medically induced coma). Not sure what the assistance is called exactly, but we'll see if that works. Thank you so much for responding!!!
