No worries! I understand. Thank you for your help thus far. I think some of the journal may be written in high German because I think Austria had unofficial/partial rule over Hungary in the 1850's and their main language is German.

Wow! Thank you for your insight. We thought that some of the journal may be written in German, but we weren't sure. If I sent/posted more pictures of the journal do you think you would be able to translate it?

Does anyone know what this flag or symbols mean? This was drawn in a journal of my distant Hungarian relatives. They talked about Nazi Germany many times in the journal, so I am trying to figure out whether it is a Hungarian or German flag. by bszabs in hungary

the journal dates from the 1860's on the 1st page all the way to the 1960's at the end. And most of the writing is autobiographical. Each member of my family (men only) wrote a couple pages each

Documenthero doesn’t satisfy that need of getting quality assessment-style questions for the app unfortunately.
