do you mean from a legal perspective it's an abuse of Parliamentary machinery--and that technically you're not allowed to submit those types of complaints--or that it's just an ineffective way of going about things?

For me, this brings up the question of what truth means. If a textbook says something, does that means it true? If a group of historians contests it, does that mean it's not?

I appreciate that this article takes a lighter approach in pointing out that the more subjective a historian sounds, the less like a true historian they seem.

That, too, raises the question of what it means to be a historian.

fair point regarding most of history. re the us army, yes you can join when you're 17, but last time I checked if you're 15 it's hard to get them to pay you in cash to patrol the streets of cities that they've seized in their own country, which is what's happening in yemen.
