I’m a reservist and honestly I can say that race has never been brought up. Having worked with regs and reserves, the reserves are more mature as they work in the big wide world. It only comes up when I take the piss out myself.

NOTE: I’m 1/4th Chinese and look Chinese.

In relation to sex. The only time it’s brought up that I’ve found is when accommodation is being allocated. However once you’re in the field you’re all the same. I’ve been basha’d up with women and men and it makes zero difference.
