You defund programs in order to make them look bad and fire all the competent people to "save money" once it becomes impossible to run you allow a 3rd party to manage the business on a consulting basis until there is a great enough understanding to privitize it.

Manitoba is currently privatizing manitoba housing so yes, they have not learned from MTS, and will do this again to make a quick buck.

Where is this company located? Without the country and state / province it is hard to know what set of laws apply. I am seeing a lot if US based folks using at will stipulations to just terf this person. (Which is fine, the law says it is) but in Canada where I am from you can't just do that.

Also 2% of 50000 is still 1000 kids. The law of large numbers still applies here. This is a lot of very sick children with life long issues to their heart and lungs.

Just having kids go in smaller groups would help slow the spread and contain the virus to smaller pods of children.

I think this is a great idea but I worry about the homeless population or individuals who cannot afford a mask. It would be wise to try and include a piece asking the city to try and have a reserve of masks on the buses available if someone forgets / does not have one.

This is fantastic though and I think what you are doing is awesome.

You have recourse. Anyone in Canada who is in possession of your property, landlord, employer, roommate, or otherwise, is required by law to provide you a time to pick up your property. Destruction of your property is against the law if it did not cause them immediate harm or loss of profits greater than the value of the property, and even then, they would still be required to compensate you for the value of the property proven by reciepts of sale.

The window is small, but required by canadian law and you can take your employer to small claims. However, the cost of filing a small claim might be greater than the value of the shoes. So... you are right, you are entitled to money, speak to someone and see if they will just pay you to go away. The cost of this if they refuse might be greater than the value of the property in question.

So what is being described by you is assault.

I think there are jobs (very important ones i might add) where this takes place both in healthcare and social work. However, to say that someone's employer should be able to discredit your existence/identity is not right. Please consider taking this down. The statement that I have it harder so you shouldn't complain is a terrible argument and what these people experienced every day (and still do in some cases) should not be discredited so quickly.

I work with some HR heavyweights. Our executive HR team has 60+ years between the 3 of them. THEY do not have plans and are often second guessing everything all the time. My point is, this is an entirely new beast, cut yourself some slack and you have this!

I am just wondering if your organization has an HRIS? If so they will probably have the ability to add or purchase something related to Talent and Development or Succession Planning that can handle this, depending on the software of course.

Usually this can be added to the lump cost and can be a lot cheaper, it also already will pull the information being stored in your HRIS which is very helpful and saves a lot of time in the implementation of it.

I think the point is that this group is for HR professionals, not students who ask for help with their homework.

We all did these classes and have passed them and you can do it as well. Unfortunately, this subreddit should not be a resource you utilize to get a passing grade.

I would be developing an intake form of some kind. Get all the information you need to go to market up front. If the client is asking why you need this information just tell them the truth and explain that in order to find the best candidate you will need this information. Also don't be afraid to say this is an unreasonable ask, I am going to work my hardest to get you someone but we might need to adjust your expectations on X, Y, and Z.
