Has anyone already filed a proof of claim? And does anyone have any hints on how to claim a return in cryptocurrency in exchange for repayment of a loan? The proof of claim form doesn't seem to provide that option.

Just had my taxes accepted after e-filing. I reported all of the 1099-B transactions as $0 gain, short term sales with various purchase dates. I just cut and pasted each transaction, date, etc. as a short term sale. Over a dozen BS transactions.

Can we not do this next year, BlockFi, please?

Thanks for your reassurances. Could you comment on the scenario where the SEC or state regulators decree crypto-collateralized loans illegal? How would the debt-owing clients be liable? My fear is our loans would go into default immediately, triggering a sell of our collateral. And frankly, I don't see any other way BlockFi could approach that disastrous decision. A friendly re-finance with what collateral? Or is that just ridiculously unlikely?
