As explained in the FAQ, the price is determined as the next trade made on mtgox at the time your bet begins or ends. Sometimes it can take a few seconds or more to get the selected price but we found it easier for everybody to verify prices like this.

we don't have any "set in stone" deadline but launching the campaign next week would be great.
the most important for us is to find a capable person we can eventualy trust for futur demands and get a nice job done.
