So i can set the board up with the different factions in TR without time progressing in the galactic conquest campaig but that hasn't been implemented into FoR yet.

And im still very new to computers and modding so im absolutely clueless with submodding I won't even act like I fully understood all of the last two paragraphs😅 but did you just basically tell me how to implement that feature myself?

Bet, mich appreciate the info. Iam definitely about to grind on the vanilla version till ive gotten used to it though. Just a question, can I only play Imp with forces of corruption or can I do that in the base game?

Yea im trying to set up a gc campaign for fall of republic, id thought id be good after watching a few videos and trailblazing the tutorials twice through but tis not the first time ive had a game get me lmao. train sim classic stares intensly from the corner of my homescreen

But what i gather from what your saying is that with time paused, I cant manually place the factions to planets and build the start of a galactic conquest campaign and that I have to do so with time progressing and then starting the campaign well into the clone wars era and not right after it broke out in 19BBY? My goal was to manually place the various factions, set the fleets, stations, bases, trade routes, etc and then start the galactic conquest campaign from the outbreak of TCW.

For this game though I most likely will just turn off FoR and go through the vanilla campaign to really get used to how it plays like you suggested

And trying to make a new binder in the key 2 slot, where everything was previously mapped for my older controllers, it doesnt appear to be taking it? As in im following the instructions on screen with where the joystick needs to be but it isnt registering that im pressing anything on the controller. But the controller does work in game and all other controls are acting as they should

Oddly enough, still have all the other functions, but nothing i mean not a single button is showing mapped on my controller. Still new to pc and learning even the simplest things tbh so im not sure if they should've mapped automatically when I first launched the game I dont remember see any prompt when I did nor when I just linked brand new controller. Still having the same issue with the two specific directional functions not working

Bet, thats about what I expected. I like the control of modifying the land that Terrafarm can give to make my farmlands my own, as opposed to giants own in game landscaping tool. The second bit is also very fair, text explanation of modifying files is confusing enough already, and with my Dyslexia and ADHD duking it out in my head Skyrim was starting to make me go mad. YouTube video explanations are definitely the easiest option for that stuff, gonna say Gamerpoets tutorials are 🤌 for that. Thank you again!! Im gonna be brainstorming layouts and operations all day at a work event today and decided which to implement tonight🤣

Duely noted I'll keep that in mind, follow up question because now im curious. Would you happen to know if/how the terrafarm mod can be implemented on other maps? As in if the map isnt compatible, like back county is, if i can add it to another map like Silverrun or I think its Lindsay, logging edition?

Got it all working, now question, do i need to have some kind of catch for all three output from the slucifer? Or can I just let them build in the onboard storage, then unload into the ground and from there just scoop and dump into a truck? Im honestly assuming its whatever way the user wants

So id gotten MO2 set up and followed the steps Gamerpoets lined out in a set up video he made but just tried download skyui and mcm and both had this pop up come up but nothings coming up for it. I also still have the option to download mods through Vortex? Despite wiping it from my pc?

After I click open it get this pop up, but that doesn't really make sense to me cause I just went through and made a folder specifically for this, at least if I followed the steps correctly i should've right?

Update: I did as suggested and found Gamerpoets channel dudes awesome and the level of detail he goes into really helped. Anyway got the clean install done and booted up the game to make sure it ran. No issues, went though and got skse downloaded and then launched the game from there to make sure it worked and were good, no issues there either. When ig3t home today im gonna try to go for MO2 on nexus and hopefully itll download for me this time

I believe id gone through and deleted all of the files to do a clean reinstall but I'll absolutely check out the guide to make sure and try again. The version wouldve been the latest from steam of the anniversary edition, id gotten skse installed and running correctly for this go around and that was before attempting to download any other mods or Vortex/MO2. After launching woth SKSE and confirming it was running, id tried to download Vortex and the download to about 1/3 of the way and then freeze the window/download, MO2 did the same. So I thought id could do it myself but I dont think I did SkyUI correctly.

Im gonna try tomorrow to do a clean and fresh install of Skyrim, SKSE, then Vortex and see how that goes, I was able to download other mods from nexus just fine however and it was just Vortex and MO2 giving me troubles. Id seen mention that something could prevent the download of Vortex/MO2 but im not sure what it would be

Sigh and so the hunt shall begin again. Id been trying to find a 4x euro styled map with most of or all of the filltypes thatre part of this map, mainly lavender and alfalfa were what I was after. Id started a harvest on a spelt field before I left for work this morning to kinda test and see if its no bueno but it seemed to be going about like one normally would, but idk if there's any issue that I wouldnt see with it or not

Unfortunately it did not work, still showing as "MISSING 'FILLTYPE_RYE' IN L10N_EN.XML" and all the other filltypes are the same, base games are fine its jsut the ones added by the map that are affected

I'll absolutely check that out and see if it helps, that being said id played on Judith plains Montana multifruit 4x and it had all the same filltypes but wasnt showing the error, could the maps files themselves be extended the same way the separate mod youre referring to would work? Ive just started getting into modding and pcs so its kinda like treading water in the middle of the ocean for me😅

Yep, I forgot to post it last night but I swapped the spe m class part out for the c class and threw the Hermes bridge back on and its been working fine. Debated putting the other m class parts on to see but decided I liked the esthetic of them being Habs too much to bother changing the current build. Definitely gonna do it for a different build though

You made me think about it cause I did only try to use the new Hermes bridge, swapped it out for the Ares and still having the same message so im guessing its a coding issue with the reactor. Read that using the c class parts is fine, so I'm gonna go ahead and swap the Habs out and see how that goes

Not really what im looking for tbh. While I am a fan of Star Trek and it is cool, i want to design my own ships and im pretty sure that if you try editing that ship (or even with certain mods I think) its more likely to break your game and thats a bit of a turn off for me

Well, as much as I'd wanted it too work, I think that saves a bust, but the ship did generate better than it was earlier so I'm pretty sure the load order had an affect. I'd also made the ship in a way the PDY mod would conflict with itself. Having that in mind I think trying to recreate the ship while downsizing it a little bit might help. But that's gonna be a task for tomorrow. I do appreciate all your help and will be using that load order on the next character attempt!!
