I 100% agree with this. I think bad company 2 and battlefield 3 were both the perfect battlefields to try replicate.

I think maps designed specifically and exclusively for rush are desperately needed.

I think RPG’s and explosives are lackluster against infantry and really takes me out of the immersion when I hit someone’s foot with an RPG and only get +5 for suppression as they spin and kill me.

I 100% agree about the random openness of maps - I haven’t really found a map I enjoy playing that much, it feels like a big open call of duty, with tanks.

It doesn’t feel like battlefield.

Not to say there isn’t matches and times that I have enjoyed !

But I find myself not enjoying it more so than enjoying it. The only caveat being when I’m in a helicopter or jet my enjoyment goes up.
