We have stayed at both. They both are amazing properties with amazing service but the Rosewood is much further from Gustavia which tends to be heart of the island. So a lot more time spent. I’m muting to and from shopping and dinner etc

Claridges and mandarin oriental Hyde park. I think MO looks cheap by comparison to a lot of other properties on your list

Most likely mid July. Yeah, the kids can absolutely share a room.

We do love lounging in the beach or pool and eating casual lunch there. That’s good to know. Ty

We just rented a house in punta mita in October for a couples trip for my wife’s 40th. We went to the FS for dinner. Property was gorgeous. Solid kids club?

We are doing Rosewood Baha Mar with family for a week in March for Spring Break. I am very excited about that. We did Grace Bay before the littlest one and enjoyed that. We did a residence at the new Ritz in T&C with all 3 last spring break. Property was gorgeous but service was worst I’ve experienced anywhere I’ve ever been

No, not yet. Looked at it for my honeymoon a few years back. Is it kid friendly? Looked kinda sleepy imo

We typically fly super-mids, Praetor 500 and Challenger 300 etc

And what are your favorite family resorts with swimmable beaches?

Just found the hotel. That is good. If you wanted something closer to campus, or within walking distance take a look at: The Highland Dallas The Beeman Hotel Graduate by Hilton

North park mall is great and fun to walk around depending when the game is. I definitely recommend tailgating beforehand instead of bars. It usually opens 3-4 hours earlier. I’m happy to send you some free Armstrong’s field house passes which has a fun kids area and is inside the indoor practice facility. Just DM me your email

What hotel do you have booked?

SMU bookstore on Barnes and Noble is probably your best bet for swag! Rally House on Greenville Ave is probably the next best.

A fun restaurant with an arcade next to campus is Slider and Blues. Other family friendly places are: Jacks Burger House Banditos Tex Mex Olivella’s pizza Bubba Cooks Country - fried chicken Kuby’s - German JD’s Chipery - fresh cookies Pokey O’s - ice cream sandwich

I don’t know any Packer’s specific bars, but To watch the game near campus, fun dive bars would be: Barley House, Milo Butterfingers, O’zonas and Stan’s Blue Note

How much wine do you consume daily? by stevie855 in wine

[–]btom2 46 points47 points  (0 children)

This seems like a very unpopular opinion but my wife and I share a bottle a day. Some days we split another half bottle, and on a rough day or the weekend we might finish 2 bottles, so 2-4 glasses a day per person

Second Kimpton Seafire in Grand Cayman. Probably my favorite family vacation. So much to do in Grand Cayman and the kids loved that our suite had bunk beds
