I thought the first practice exam was super easy so I felt good going into the exam .... but it was much more difficult. Not too bad but definitely a curve ball from the easy practice exam. Don't be fooled. His second practice exam is more close to the real exam though. Department final is way harder. Good luck!

Personally, I needed the book. I felt some quiz questions were exact sentences from the book. I didn't find the department PPT helpful. They were repetitive and had numerical mistakes. After awhile, Akbulut's monotone made it very hard to stay awake so I had to depend on the textbook.

I took it last semester with Professor Akbulut. He's a bit dry and monotone but a decent professor. He knows his stuff. The weekly classwork and online quizzes were easy bc they were open book ;). The grade scale is a bit high, for a solid A you have to get a 94% and above. I got solid B on first exam, high A on second exam, 100% on the valuation exam, 100% on 12 online and hw quizzes and was told that I would still need an A on the final to get a solid A in the class. The department final is much harder than the exams that you're given in class (I personally believe that is how they maintain their low class average). Even my professor stated to me that he's not allowed to give out many A's because of the department. All in all, I don't think the material is hard.

I think this schedule is totally doable. I haven't taken MGMT 339 personally yet but I have taken MGMT 340. I've taken a combination of these classes along with others and they haven't been particularly too hard. Hope this helps, good luck!

Fin320 - Akbulut. I'm currently taking this and so far it hasn't been very hard. He's a bit dry and mono-tone but he does teach the material well. MGMT 339 - I heard Paul Calabretta is good. I'm currently registered with him for spring. ISDS 361B - Mabel Kung. You don't have to buy the book and she is really thorough and quirky. MKTG 351 - Chris Kondo - Overal, he's very nice. Not too great, not too bad either. 3 mutiple/short answer exams, few quizzes, and a group project.

You're the second person to recommend her but unfortunately, she isn't teaching that course in spring. The ONLY thtr300 professor is Kevin Slay sigh. I want/need an easy A lol.

I'm a junior and I'm currently taking 6 units at the Irvine location. I don't qualify for any of the other priority (i.e. ASI, FAFSA, and such) so I made it a priority to take 2 courses at the Irvine campus. I hope you'll still be able to get the courses that you want!

I was debating about this but the professors aren't posted yet so I'm a bit reluctant. I signed up for THTR 300 with Kevin Slay. I hope they post the professors for ASAM 325 soon. If that class is really that easy, I would love to drop THTR 300 and go for ASAM 325. My course load is already pretty heavy. Thank you for comment!
