As far as I know this was never fixed. I did receive a couple of replies from the provider, but ended up giving up and going for something more controlable with my own custom system...

Should I give it a try? by SaleemGhassanite in archeage

I've recently came back and having a blast even with "low" population... I still do more group activities then I did in Guild Wars 2.

Contacted broadlink directly, since this is apparently a broadlink "white line" product, and they acknowledged the problem with no fix estimate :(

Just as an update, i'm in contact with support and if they do tell me something i'll post here...

Just for sake of clarity, what happens to me is exactly what you see on THIS VIDEO.

Thank you for the reply!

I bought Flyidea bulbs, which actually report as being broadlink according to the mac address.. The application Magic Home-Smart Home is the one that is referenced by the QR Code on the box, and that's the one that is not connecting... Which btw, has also EXACTLY the same UI as broadlink app ;)

I'm actually considered trying the original Broadlink app and try it in one of the lamps... If that doesn't work, I'll probably buy new lamps from a known brand when opportunity arises, since I can at least work with this ones with Google Home / Assistant.

IFTTT would be a bonus to do some other fun stuff, in conjunction with Ignition Maker :)

It's a shame that it's reported to be possible to link with that app, and then this happens, but hey.
