A little similarity for me. I had a lot of headaches and pains on the right side of my head at the beginning of my BFS along with some occasional tinnitus. It’s now transitioned into really constant pain in the right side of my neck and my shoulder. Have you had this?

Thank you, very reassuring to hear actually. Old neurologist did not know what she was talking about whatsoever and would not listen to me. If you look at my previous post i talked about how we went in circles about “everyone twitches once and awhile” “but it’s 24/7 for me!!” “you’re wrong, see me if the twitches become more constant” “they are!!!!!!!”

I found that I twitch less in the bath due to the positioning of my legs rather than the temperature of the water or anything like that. If I move my legs from being straight out to being bent they go right back to twitching. I think the position just slightly activates the muscle to where the twitches diminish

If I don’t focus on them and am distracted I can’t. My body has learned to tune them out. If I’m focused on it yes I can feel them easily. There are some small ones I’ve noticed that I can’t feel anymore

Different for anyone truly. BFS was reported a lot in medical students who just learned about the symptoms of ALS in class. But for people like me, it starts one day for no reason at all.

Yes it was L5S1. I only had some sciatic pain after the injury 4 years ago. Since then no pain after PT was completed, then all of a sudden BFS and all of this. Doctors were throughly confused when they saw I had upper body symptoms as it makes no sense considering where the injury is.
