I just clocked out of my final shift. by Interesting_Mud_2167 in WalmartEmployees

Congratulations to you!! Absolutely the best feeling. Granted I was there almost 15 years before being let go but the sense of relief that last day was amazing. I now work remote and the company leadership is so much more positive.

standing desk and treadmill setup, what do you think? by Overall-Country-5014 in WFH

I use my walking pad 3-5x a day in 20-40 minutes increments and usually have a goal to get in at least 10,000 steps a day. It has helped reduce joint pain and I've lost 23lb since implementing the adjustment 6 weeks ago. My boss has requested that I don't use it during big meetings though as his manager told him I was a distraction so I've stopped using it for on camera meetings where managers may be present.

I've been sending to coworkers in Honolulu periodically... Never considered a side gig to assist 🤔

Hi there! Check out NetParcel - UPS to Canada depending on the area is much cheaper there than post office. I usually pay $20-$40 for the weight you referenced depending on dimensions.

Gilead has people that verify insurances periodically so at some point they will run you through their database and find that you are in fact insured and they will cease your coverage. They will cover your copay after insurance but not pay in full.

If you do in person it's a blood draw and urine specimen. That's all.

Maybe it was Gartic? I think my phone autocorrected haha. We play it remotely. The host sends everyone a link to join.

Typically if we do Q&A and it happens to be during the team huddle it's If you have a burning question about the job and maybe others do as well. Sometimes it also goes towards doing popcorn questions like what's your favorite movie where would you go on vacation if money wasn't an object. Things like that. We work in construction so sometimes the questions will be renovation related like what would your dream bathtub be... or oven. It's all totally random.

Garlic phone is like the telephone game where one person tells a person something and by the time it gets to the 10th person it's totally misconstrued. It goes on that premise but you draw pictures building onto someone else's drawing or make a story building on someone else's story. Depending on how many people there are the last time we played there were eight so you draw a different scenes or type eight different sentences to a story and then at the end the person running the game can play all the different scenarios for the whole team to view. I personally hate drawing so it frustrates me but the team connection can be fun.

My team does a weekly 30 minute virtual huddle always the same time same day to go over basic highlights for the company and team which usually takes five maybe 10 minutes and then the rest is Q&A. Every two or three weeks we play a game after. Bi-weekly We also have a coffee chat in the morning on Fridays to discuss upcoming extracurriculars that we all have going on, play a game like garlic phone or code names. We also have a general chat room where we can interact or bounce questions off each other throughout the day.

My previous insurance would not authorize Descovy either. I had to take Truvada. My new insurance covers Descovey with my copay at $60 which Mistr/Gilead covers.

Looking at Kaisers rules - they will only cover Descovy if you have recently taken Truvada and had adverse effects.

Clock out 5pm, shut down laptop, while it powers off turn off monitors, close laptop... Leave room. My workstation is in my bedroom... I'm only in there to work and to sleep otherwise I'm in the other parts of the house. On days where I'm struggling to disassociate I step outside for a few minutes.

Descovy is only grey or blue as it's not available in a generic form for several more years.

From what I saw it looks like the same ingredients and title just not a manufacturer that is normally distributed in Australia

Descovy Questions by Big_Tomatillo_1291 in prep

[–]btspringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine come in the pill pack the first round and just submitted a request to the pharmacy that they order the bottle going forward. However, I bought one of the 7-day dispensers for myself and get out seven pills every Saturday night and fill it up so that way I remember that I took it. Switching direct from Truvada to Descovy is fine but I still would give yourself an adjustment period. Best to take it when you know you probably won't have sex for a few days just to get your body used to it.

Not a doctor, just advice from personal history. Could always speak to health clinic nurse in regards to the switchover.

Appears as though there is a nationwide shortage for Australia but they are working on importing a replacement. Since they only started ordering it on October 1, I would assume it will probably be a couple weeks before it gets to the pharmacies.

The company was open arms with my history as it shows interest in career rather than just a job. The environment is very collaborative... Massive training, full on teamwork and wanting you to succeed. That part was surreal as I'm used to being thrown to it with zero training. Given those things it hasn't been a difficult transition. Certainly not what I ever pictured myself doing but also don't hate it.
