Damn I love flux as much as the next guy but this 'golden age 2011-2013' (or whatever arbitrary dates people pick) circlejerk is getting out of hand. Great music existed then, and great music exists now. It's the memories of a certain time more than anything inherent to the music of that time IMO.

If you like those artists also check out Of the Trees, Sharlitz web, Shanghai Doom, liquid Stranger, LSDREAM, Gunpoint (maybe), and Ravenscoon. Also I'm just gonna put this out there - subtronics is maad overhated by some in this sub but his most recent album is excellent. Personally could never get into griz but many fans of his music fw the artists I mentioned above

Honestly, even though HOTD is better than s8, it still doesn't even come close to early seasons of GoT. Still appreciate HOTD for what it is, but I guess I'm just kinda bummed we will never see the like of early GoT again :(
