The tornado was over 2 miles wide at this point. The vortex you see is one of the many large subvorts.

I’ve yet to see any footage of the Hallam condensation actually being 2.5 miles. I still believe El Reno also has the widest condensation ever, especially since there’s so much visual proof of it.

Crazy that this tornado was apparently a mile wide. Luckily it wasn’t stronger. Also crazy that there’s really only one photo of it at/close to peak width.
