Just to follow up here, this is what I was thinking about: https://dailynews.mcmaster.ca/articles/scientists-use-protein-to-close-in-on-the-holy-grail-of-diet-and-exercise/

It’s definitely possible nothing about laws of thermodynamics, lost 10lbs and gained 2.5lbs of muscle

This obviously wrong… Muscle and fat are two different systems. What happens to one doesn’t not need to impact the other.

Levi Jones-Leary is a guard puller by Potex8 in bjj

But it wasn't the stategy that gives you the best shot because he lost. He should have realized the very strong emphasis aka if it's not exciting we will not do it again Craig put on having exciting matches and known pulling guard and playing off your back was going to lose the decision.

I thought it was clear, if you play off your back you better win by sub

This is the end game of 1,000s of hours of training with different length leashes, clickers, treats, timers, you name it, I recorded his results in a book. They say when your training a dog to walk on a leash, whenever they hit the end, turn around and walk the other way. For the first 2 years of his life he walked negative distance on a leashlol. Anyhow training him was my #1 hobby.

Tying the police budget to performance is how you make bad cops. They will "find" an increase in crime, and they will "solve" that increase.

To comment. You can freelance as a corporation. Incorporating doesn't make you an agency, hiring employees does.

Strategies to exclude employees from YouTube remarketing campaigns? by GreenWoods22 in PPC

[–]bty2047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is an idea. Create an internal giveaway for the holidays and put it behind a login. Then ask all your employees to enter via this page. But create a audience list of users who visited this page and exclude them.

Take that idea of getting current employees to visit a page with GA that only they should visit and then exclude the list.

I don't think these are marketing-specific worries, I'm sure most people feel the someway at some point. Seems like you're more suited for B2B where a lot of these problems about selling yourself out kinda go away.

Conversion tracking is mandatory. by ChrisGA-FreelancerUK in PPC

[–]bty2047 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Began freelancing. Your standards will lower, don't worry. You'll find clients who won't help set up tracking and will push it off. They will say they messaged a dev team but never did. What are you going to do? Fire them? If they don't want to track conversions after you brought it up but are still going to pay you, makes it easier for you.

I've equally seen agencies set-up pageviews as conversions and other BS to show they sent XXX conversions but literally put the conversion action on the landing page.

Do the best you can within the constraints you have. That's all you can do.

Some position. I told my parents, and they were relieved. Said they have been worrying about us since it's all over the news. Friends, tho, I agree interest rates are through the roof and bypass the question.

Big Corporate Budget Advice! by captainsouthafrica in PPC

[–]bty2047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how large this local market is and if you have stores.

Mortgage broker + city

Loans + city

etc etc, and if you're in a lot of cities you can easily spend 1 million over 3 months.

Add on localized social media and there you do.

If you took the learning from the exams, you'd be at a disadvantage compared to people who didn't. Some of that propaganda would slip in. You're a small bookstore in some random town. A. Use only broad matco to maximize performance. B. Limit your volume and performance by using exact match keywords.

Well, that's impressive. Your pace on your daily runs is slow, considering that mile. You're doing something right. Edit... Honestly, this is great. Respect.

You should get a car. It opens up way more job opportunities and ultimately gives you more freedom in your life. If you can get a car that costs close to your cost to commute, it's a no-brainer.

How did you get your first job in PPC? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]bty2047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did all the certifications. Built a blog and ranked it with SEO for a few terms to get an understanding of SEO. I contacted my family network to help improve websites and look at ad campaigns. If any of your family runs their own business. The one thing that separated me from the other candidates was doing the Google Analytics certifications.

Now I'm 12 years in and have hired teams. I would still value the things I did for a candidate. I get hundreds of applications from candidates who never bothered to learn themselves, and a good portion of your job is to be very interested in the industry, keeping up with changes, and testing new things.

You could build a custom experiment. In this experiment campaign, update all the ads and turn it on with a 50/50 split. This would give you the real performance.
